Story/plot: Shardul Thakur and Suman Singh enter into a marriage of convenience but chaos ensues when her girlfriend comes to stay with them. So basically it is all about Instead of coming out, a man and a woman who are interested in the same gender entering into a marriage of convenience to appease their parents.

Badhai Do is full of comedy and humor. This is one of those films that comes out with a great social message but in a very comic and funny way, that’s how these kinds of movies connect to the audience. This movie is about Shardul Thakur and Suman Singh entering into a marriage of convenience but chaos ensues when her girlfriend comes to stay with them. So basically it is all about Instead of coming out, a gay man and a lesbian entering into a marriage of convenience to appease their parents.

Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi have done an amazing job in terms of acting. The director Harshvardhan Kulkarni has presented this movie in a very interesting way Although having the topic of having an interest in the same gender. The movie actually never bored in the whole run time of almost two and a half hours. Talking about music in the movie then it suits perfectly with the situation and blends smoothly in the movie.
